Apply for a Loan- We make it a pleasure!

When you have found the right home or property and you have had your offer to purchase accepted, it is time to do your loan application. If you have been pre-qualified, you have already submitted most of the needed information. Just a few other details need to be complete.

For a full document loan, you will need to provide your Omega Home Loans officer with some additional paperwork including:

  • W-2 (2 years) and current month's pay stub
  • 2 year work history
  • Purchase contract and legal description
  • Three months bank statements (all pages, all accounts)
  • A list of current real estate owned including loan numbers, addresses, balance of loan and monthly payments.
  • Last two year’s tax returns with all schedules
  • If you are self-employed or you derive more than 25% of your income is from bonus and/or overtime, please provide a year-to-date Profit & Loss statement.
  • Personal check for credit report and home appraisal.

Once all of the paperwork is complete and all of the application documents are signed and dated, the loan request is submitted to the appropriate lender. It usually takes about 72 hours for conditional approval. When the conditions are met, the loan documents are ready for signing and sent to escrow for your signature. The escrow officer and your Omega Home Loans officer will walk you through the documents to be sure you fully understand the terms of the loan.

After the loan is funded and recorded, escrow closes and your dream home is now a reality.
