| So you want to buy a home. What should you do? The first and most important step is getting pre-qualified by Omega Home Loans. When you become pre-qualified, you know what you can afford which allows you to spend your home shopping time wisely. Once you are pre-qualified it is time to meet with your Realtor. After you have identified the property you want to purchase, your Realtor will write your “offer to purchase” or purchase contract. When you have your purchase contract accepted and escrow is opened, get in touch with Omega Home Loans to begin the loan application process. Please furnish all information that your Omega Home Loans loan originator requests so you don’t have any delays or surprises further into the loan application/approval process. Upon receipt of the needed information by your Omega Home Loans officer, your application will be submitted to GMAC or another lender for conditional approval. If more information is needed to complete the approval process, the lender will contact your Omega Home Loans officer who will, in turn, contact you. Once your loan has been approved and all conditions met, you will sign loan documents at the title company handling your escrow. The end of the escrow involves receiving the funding from the lender and recording the deed. Congratulations! You have just bought your dream home or dream property.
It can be that simple. |
